The EGBA Sustaibanility Report highlights that 65% of European customers – a record 21 million individuals – utilized safety tools last year, with over half doing so voluntarily, marking a 14% increase from the previous year. Additionally, EGBA operators sent a record 67.6 million messages to their customers to encourage safer play, a 49% increase year-on-year. Notably, over 23 million of these messages were personalized based on the customers’ actual playing behavior.
The EGBA Sustainability Report 2024 details the collaborative efforts and advancements made by its members to foster a sustainable gambling environment and positively impact European society. The report’s objectives are to monitor annual progress, enhance transparency, and strengthen a robust culture of social responsibility. This year’s edition features key sustainability achievements from EGBA and its members over the past year, along with data on customer engagement, safer gambling tools and promotions, social contributions, employment and diversity, and environmental initiatives.
