Recently, completed a successful turnaround of SKS365 as CEO, taking it from a second-tier player to the number one spot in the Italian market for retail and online gaming. Prior to SKS365, he was COO of Tipico where, together with the CEO, he set and executed the strategy that created Germany’s leading retail and online gaming company before selling the business to CVC. For the previous 15 years Ian invested in and advised high-growth digital companies across Europe in his roles in private equity (Allianz Capital Partners), corporate finance (Go4Venture) and executive search (Russell Reynolds). His early career was in research and software development.
Enthusiastic, experienced, and entrepreneurial CMO with an innate international/local cultural-fit, a passion for business development and a specific experience in startups. In his career he has successfully contributed to the launch or re-launch of digital brands such as Yahoo!, Bwin, King.com, SKS365, Pinnacle. He holds a Law Degree from the Università Cattolica of Milan and a MBA from the Politecnico of Milano.
Dr Aleks Matic leads DigitalEjis’ scientific programmes. A Visiting Fellow at the LSE, Aleks has 15 years in digital mental health in academia and industry, 50+ publications, 15+ patent submissions and is considered a pioneering researcher in digital phenotyping.
Murphy Choy is a trailblazing technologist, entrepreneur, and executive who has dedicated his career to pushing boundaries and driving digital transformation in the enterprise. He has held several positions in organizations, with a focus on bringing the latest technologies and practices to the forefront of business operations. He strongly believes in the power and potential of technology to streamline processes, create efficiencies, and democratize access to information. He has an extensive background in infrastructure technologies, web development, and software engineering, and is committed to delivering high-impact solutions to customers. A passionate problem-solver who loves to hack together solutions to complex problems, Murphy is constantly exploring innovative ways to drive growth and market adoption of products and services. He is currently the founder of Alionova, a disruptive AI-driven technology consultancy.
Operationally orientated GC and one of Italy’s leading lawyers and government advisers in the fields of gambling and tech. She leads legal and compliance and works closely with Francesco on regulatory sales and governmental lobbying.
Joined the Ancora Group as CFO and Compliance Officer in July 2022. Over 30 years of experience across a wide variety of sectors. Formerly Group Finance Director and Compliance Officer for Vermilion Partners and prior to that worked at N.M. Rothschild London.
Qualified as a Chartered Accountant, FCA, with EY, working in Southampton, Jersey and the Netherlands.
